The idea that we have to dumb down all standards of morality for fear of being guilty of judging others seems to be ridiculous. How many times have u heard someone whine, 'Judge not, that u be not judged?' This verse from Matt7:1 is often quoted out of context by people who are terrified at the idea of someone preaching against sin or pointing out any form of error in anyone, especially themselves.
Jesus advises we first examine ourselves before pointing out a sin. I call this a 'RULE FOR JUDGING'. He said, "... First remove the log that is in yo own eye so that u may see clearly to remove the speck that is in yo brother's eye..."(Matt7:5). I understand God allows his people to judge, in fact u are sinning if u refuse to judge. "... I'm making u watchman... U MUST PASS ON TO THEM THE WARNINGS I GIVE U... If l announce that an evil man is going to die but u do not warn him to change his ways..., he will die still a sinner & I WILL HOLD U RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS DEATH..."(Ezekiel33:7-9). "The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom & his tongue talketh judgement". (Psalm37:30). "Seek good & not evil... Hate the evil & love the good & establish judgement in the gate..." (Amos5:14-15). How can u hate the evil if u do not judge? U can't & so u are sinning if u do not judge.
"The way of peace they know not & there's no judgement in their goings, they have made them crooked paths, whoever goeth therein will not know peace". (Isaiah59:8). People have refused to judge so there is no peace.
Paul said in 1 Corinthians1:10, "... Be perfectly joined together in the same mind & in the same judgement". Why would Paul make such a statement if judging is wrong? In 1 Corinthians2:15 Paul says "But he that is spiritually judgeth all things yet he himself is judged of no man". Judging is not a sin but a characteristic of being a spiritual person! Satan has been lying to us hoping that we will not judge because he knows that the right kind of judgement pleases God & betters our lives...
